Columbian Women Scholarships

The objective of The Columbian Women Scholarship is to recognize and assist women pursuing a degree program in any field of study at the George Washington University who demonstrate a high level of achievement in academia and a commitment to their chosen profession. The Columbian Women Scholarship is based on merit and financial need. All applicants must be:
• Be enrolled in the George Washington University for at least one semester in a recognized academic degree program (e.g., bachelor, master’s, doctorate, JD, or MD).
• Have completed a minimum of fifteen (15) credit hours for undergraduate or nine (9) credit hours for graduate studies from the George Washington University prior to the application deadline.
• Demonstrate financial need by submitting the appropriate information to the George Washington University Financial Aid Office by filing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
• Have a grade point average of 3.5 or above at the George Washington University prior to the application deadline.
