Larry D. Harris Memorial Law Scholarship - ARCHIVE DUPLICATE

This fund was established in 2021 by Maryanne Lavan. Income earned from this fund will provide an annual need-based scholarship for one law student in the Law School. If the fund’s annual appropriation eventually exceeds the amount of full tuition for one student, the remaining funds can be used for other law students with financial need, who meet the donor’s preferences as follows, in order of importance: member of the Black Law Student Association; intend to practice in the field of government procurement/government contracts; and have prior or current military service. It is the donor’s wish that all three preferences be met, but if that is not possible, at a minimum, the first preference should be met.
