Goldman-Shapiro Scholarship (Formerly known as New Jersey Merit Scholarship)

This endowment fund was established in 2002 by Dean Michael Young and alumni who live or work in New Jersey. Income earned by this fund provides funding for scholarships at the Law School. The Goldman Shapiro Scholarship is awarded to individuals pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at the George Washington University Law School. Preference will be given to students who have lived in the state of New Jersey or who express a desire to pursue a career in the state of New Jersey.
