American Board of Family Medicine Health Policy Fellowship - REMOVE FROM GWAY

This fund was created in 2022 by the American Board of Family Medicine Foundation. This fund will provide support for a Fellow in Family Medicine, who works within the Family Medicine section of the Department of Emergency Medicine. The fellowship will transition to the Department of Family Medicine upon the formal establishment of the Department within the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS). The Fund shall be used to cover any direct Fellowship-related expenses, including, but not limited to a portion of the Fellow’s salary and fringe benefits as well as supervisory faculty salary and fringe benefits.

REMOVE FROM GWAY, PER SMHS REQUEST: DAR has this listed in GWAY for UMEs to apply to as a scholarship. Can someone have it taken out of GWAY and make sure that the EMed department is spending the funds.
Upon reviewing the MOU, this is for a fellow with a faculty appointment (eligible for tuition remission).
