Dr. Halla Brown Endowed Scholarship

This fund was established in 2019 by Lucy Brown Ezekiel, in memory of her mother, Halla Brown, M.D., who was a practicing physician and medical professor at George Washington University Medical Center, specializing in allergy research and treatment. This fund will provide need-based scholarships for students enrolled in the M.D. program in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. First preference will be given to female students who graduated from public high school in the District of Columbia or Prince George County, Maryland. Additional preference will be given to female students of diverse backgrounds.
