The Grace Venters Speights Endowed Law Scholarship Fund

This endowment fund was established by Grace Venters Speights, JD ’82, a member of the George Washington University Board of Trustees. This fund provides funding for one qualified Juris Doctor degree candidate enrolled at the GW Law School. Preference is given to full-time legal students with demonstrated financial need who have demonstrated an interest in diversity and inclusion; plans to be an active GW Law Black Law Student Association (BLSA) member; or a second- or third-year law student. If no student meets all three criteria, then preference will be given to students meeting at least one of the three criteria, in the order listed above.
