S. Jay Hazan M.D. Endowed Scholarship

This fund is established to provide scholarship support for students enrolled in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at The George Washington University. Selection of deserving recipients of the S. Jay Hazan, M.D. Endowed Scholarship shall be made by the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, in consultation with the Office of Medical Student Financial Aid.

Recipients selected for this scholarship shall reflect the following qualities:

- A 3rd or 4th year student
- A record of academic achievement
- Compassion for the patient
- True financial need

Recipients shall be designated and known as “Hazan Scholars” and shall be entitled to hold the scholarship for a maximum of one academic year.
