HD Hyundai Endowed Fund in Engineering

This fund was established in 1983 by HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. The fund will provide scholarships for graduate students in the School of Engineering & Applied Science, with preference for students pursuing education in maritime-related activities, including shipbuilding, hydrodynamics, energy, propulsion, autonomous systems, and cybersecurity. Support will include tuition, research, conference attendance, living expenses, or other related expenses. Preference will be given to students who have studied in, lived in, or graduated from schools in Korea, and/or students who have demonstrated an interest in the history and culture of Korea. In those years when this preference cannot be met, scholarships may be awarded to students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degrees in the academic areas noted above.
